Earn your Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree one weekend at a time
Easy Enrollment | Affordable Tuition | Convenient, Weekend-Only Classes
The FasTrack Weekend Degree Program is available to all students. It is especially convenient for the working student since classes are Saturday morning/afternoon. Students may plan ahead since future classes that meet degree requirements are set--more classes will be added as the semester gets closer.
FasTrack courses meet all graduation requirements for the Associate in Arts Degree, the Associate in Science Degree, and the general education requirements for the Associate in Applied Science Degree. Classes are 8-weeks long and are a combination of in-classroom and online instruction so that students make the most of their weekends. Students may take as many as 15 credits in one semester and are encouraged to take "Strategies for Academic Success" (GE 101), which will prepare students to be successful in college and in the FasTrack Program.
FasTrack courses are offered Saturday morning/afternoon on the Newtown Campus. Also, several 16-week courses are offered on Saturdays on the Newtown Campus AND hundreds of additional courses are available online 24/7 and Monday-Friday during the day and evening on BCTC’s six campuses in Lexington, Danville, Lawrenceburg, and Winchester.
FasTrack courses are offered on the BCTC Newtown Campus in Lexington near the intersection of Leestown Road (Hwy 421 and New Circle Road). Free parking is available with only a short walk to the classrooms.
This program is the perfect opportunity for working adults to get their degree or to take just a class or two. With small class sizes and great faculty, everyone can be a successful college student in the FasTrack Weekend Degree Program.
