Kentucky Residency

For questions regarding Residency status, please contact us via email or by phone at (859) 246-6210.

On the admissions application, there are questions relating to residency.  How you answer these questions determines if you are identified as a Kentucky resident or an out-of-state resident.

If it is determined that you are an out-of-state resident and you wish to apply for in-state residency, you would need to complete and submit the notarized affidavit, along with supporting documentation by the term deadline to either:

Office of Admissions
200 Oswald Building
470 Cooper Drive
Lexington, KY 40506

The One-Stop
Building C
164 Opportunity Way
Lexington, KY 40511

*We are unable to review a residency affidavit if it is submitted past the established deadline for the desired term or if it is submitted for a previous term.  Any concerns regarding residency must be addressed no later than the end of the first month of the semester.
