By studying foreign languages, students acquire not only a linguistic skill, but also an understanding of other peoples' literature's, histories, and cultures. They gain a new perspective from which to view their own country, way of life, and language. Knowledge of a second language is an important facet of any academic discipline and a profoundly enlightening experience that can have far reaching implications both professionally and personally.
We offer courses in American Sign Language, Japanese and Spanish. If you have any questions about our course offerings or programs, please contact the Languages coordinator Joshua Hoekstra.
