Disability Awareness Month

For the month of October, the Learning Resource Center has chosen to focus on issues that affect those with disabilities in our community and our nation. To coincide with National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Diversity Awareness Month, the Learning Resource Center has produced the following items:

• Selected Materials Relating To Disability Awareness:
  A bibliography of some of the items in our library that pertain to disability awareness. You may print this bibliography if you wish, or hard copies are available in the Learning Resource Center.
  
• Disability Awareness--Selected Websites: 
  A selection of quality websites focusing on disability issues and disability awareness. Feel free to print and distribute this useful list.  
  
• Bookmark: 
  An informative, printable bookmark profiling five individuals who have overcome disabilities.
