If you are accessing the account for the first time or if you have forgotten your password:

1. Go to the https://webmail.kctcs.edu
2. Click on NEW ACCOUNT ACTIVATION (first time users only) all others click on PASSWORD RESET.
3. Type your LAST NAME and enter your 9-digit STUDENT ID number (starting with 001). Click OKAY.
4. Read the name given to make sure you are accessing the correct account. If correct, click OKAY.
5. Observe the information provided about your USER NAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS. (you might want to write down this information so you don’t forget it.)

Note: PASSWORDS must be 8 characters long and must include at least 3 different TYPES of characters. You may use numbers, symbols, UPPER-CASE letters, and lower-case letters, but you MUST INCLUDE at least 3 of the 4 types of characters. For instance, you might use your first initial in UPPER-CASE, your last initial in lower-case, and your phone number (Jd2462400); or you might use your first initial in lower-case and your phone number with a dash (j246-2400). Your password will NOT be accepted if it includes your first or last name. If your PASSWORD is not accepted; you will receive an ERROR message. Click OKAY and try another PASSWORD. If your PASSWORD is accepted, you will receive on OKAY message. Click on OKAY to return to LOGON page.
