Transforming Lives in the Bluegrass … One Student at a Time: Sarah Thomas


Sarah Thomas didn’t start college with an interest in politics. But somehow, it seemed inevitible. She grew up in Arkansas near the childhood home of former President Bill Clinton. During a summer job in Illinois, she met a junior state senator who eventually became President Barack Obama. Read full article

BCTC Receives $44,000 in Funding from United Way

Bluegrass Community and Technical College programs that develop literacy and promote dual credit enrollment received a boost in funding thanks to grants from the United Way of the Bluegrass. Read full article

A Night of Glamour at the Castle


The BCTC Foundation gave guests the royal treatment on August 20 at its Second Annual Night of Glamour Gala. Over 125 people gathered at CastlePost in Versailles for a night of dinner and dancing to support BCTC’s general scholarship fund. Read full article
