BCTC hosts tour of Newtown Campus future site
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 25, 2010) — State dignitaries, education officials and neighborhood associations recently toured the future site of Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Newtown Campus.
The Newtown Campus Master Plan is proposed on what is currently the site of Eastern State Hospital’s 48-acre campus, located at Newtown and Fourth Street in Lexington. Read more
BCTC unveils 20-year master plan for Newtown Campus
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 14, 2010) – Bluegrass Community and Technical College unveiled today plans and architect’s renderings of the 20-year master plan and the first building of the BCTC Newtown Campus. The Newtown Campus Master Plan is proposed on what is currently the site of Eastern State Hospital’s forty-eight acre campus. The Campus Master Plan outlines new building development, open space, vehicular and pedestrian circulation. The plan calls for the renovation and reuse of some existing buildings. There will a total of 14-17 buildings on the campus after completion. Read more
