The Transfer Center offers:

Individual advising: Meet one-on-one with a Transfer Advisor who can help you develop an Individual Transfer Success Plan. Schedule your own advising appointment.

Email Advising: Can't get to BCTC during regular business hours? Talk with a Transfer Advisor over email to develop a transfer plan, or you can, "Ask the Transfer Experts"!
Information: We know it-or we can track it down for you. Course equivalencies, scholarships, calculating your GPA, prerequisites, application requirements, majors, and much more!
Inspiration: Wondering if you should even think about a bachelor's degree? Our Transfer Advisors can tell you what it takes - and encourage you in the process!
CONNECTIONS: This online peer mentoring program offers BCTC students the opportunity to get their questions answered by students who have successfully transferred to four-year institutions to provide mentoring, support, and an insider look at transfer.
Events: Learn more about the possibilities at Transfer Center Events, which include a statewide Transfer Fair, a Transfer Week, visits from four-year institutions, and much more!

BCTC students who earn their Associate Degree before transfer are more likely to earn their Bachelor's Degree!

Transfer Recognition Ceremony

The Transfer Center along with Eastern Kentucky University, Kentucky State University, and the University of Kentucky will host a transfer Recognition Ceremony honoring BCTC transfer students. Recognition will be given to current BCTC students who have been admitted, as a transfer student, for the Summer or Fall 2010 semesters.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 8 from 4-6pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lexington.

If you plan to transfer to EKU, KSU, or UK... APPLY NOW! Students must be accepted by March 26 to participate.

EKU Free Application Day - EVERY TUESDAY

EKU will be waiving the $30 application fee for BCTC students that turn in their completed application to the Transfer Center between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm any tuesday.
