BCTC Global Learning

BCTC Global Learning is here to serve refugees, immigrants, international, and emerging multilingual students. We also provide leadership and support global initiatives.

Our programs focus on:

  • Study abroad and study away planning and support
  • Creating and connecting to global experiential learning
  • Cross-cultural workshops and opportunities for collaboration
  • International partnerships for the college community

We recognize, embrace, and support the experiences and needs of our global learners. We do this by providing safe, creative spaces for personal & professional growth. Your community has a home at BCTC.

The Global Learning Center houses the following programs/services:

  • Latinx and Immigrant Services Office (LISO)
  • International Student Services
  • Northern Migrant Education Regional Center
  • Refugee Career Pathways
  • Student Abroad and Global Learning Initiatives
  • Community College Initiative Program
  • Immigrants Career Navigation

Our home is at Newtown Campus in Classroom Building 103/104. We're in the Multicultural and Global Learning Center (MGLC). The MGLC is a collaboration between Global Learning and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
