First Year Experience Orientation

Congratulations on being admitted to BCTC as a first time freshman! Please see information below concerning mandatory freshman orientation dates and information.

New First Time Students for Fall 2015

Mandatory Freshman Orientations are held throughout the summer. Students are required to attend one date. You will complete orientation and register for your classes at this appointment. Selecting the earliest date possible will give you an opportunity to create a class schedule that will best fit your plans.

Here are the dates for summer orientations. You must be registered to attend. Please register below by June 1st. You will receive an email confirmation with specific information about the day.

Parents are welcome to attend any date! Parents/Guardians will attend a portion of the orientation with their student but will attend a separate parent orientation session during the students’ advising appointment.

  • Wednesday, June 17 afternoon (FULL)
  • Friday, June 19 morning (FULL)
  • Friday, June 26 morning (FULL)
  • Wednesday, July 15 afternoon (FULL)
  • Friday, July 17 morning
  • Friday, July 24 morning

**Please note: ACT/COMPASS test score must be on file prior to your orientation session to register for classes.
