Dental Hygiene Program – Cooper Campus

The Dental Hygiene Program at BCTC (Cooper Campus):

• Requires that BIO 137/139 or their equivalent be successfully completed prior to beginning DHP 120.
• The science courses (anatomy, physiology and microbiology) must be taken within the last 10 years.
• CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider and computer literacy must be obtained prior to enrolling in DHP 120 and certification must be kept current throughout the Program.

Applicants to the selective admission dental hygiene program usually have an ACT of 21 or above and at least a 3.0 GPA on all college work. The first preference group is a 3.5 GPA on at least 18 credit hours which includes at least 2 of the science courses completed with a grade of B or above.

Mandatory Attendance at One Preadmission Conference is Required Prior to Program Application.
