Mission Statement

Mission

The Radiography Program prepares students in the Bluegrass Community and Technical College service area to administer ionizing radiation for medical imaging. Faculty emphasize education and training in radiography with the integration of classroom, laboratory and clinic. Program faculty support lifelong learning and workforce development for students through efforts in student advising and continuing education.

Goals:

  • Graduate radiographers with entry level skills through the integration of classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
  • Promote the concept of lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Facilitate the effective use of written and oral communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving in the practice of radiography.
