Winchester-Clark County Scholarships

Scholarships are available from a number of sources, including KCTCS, state governments, and private funders. In addition to the options listed below, you may also want to explore scholarship sources offered by your local community or through the Web. To apply for a scholarship you must fill out an application and return before the deadline. *Note: Winchester-Clark Co. Chamber of Commerce Scholarship (Multiple Scholarships for $350 and $500);
Criteria: Must live and work in Clark Co. and be enrolled as a non-traditional student.

Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES)

This state program awards scholarship to Kentucky students who earn a 2.5 GPA or higher in high school.

KCTCS President's Scholarship

The President's Scholarship goes to students in each of the KCTCS colleges who have outstanding academic performance and unmet financial need. For more information, contact the college you plan to attend.

KCTCS John T. Smith Scholarship

This fund supports minority students at KCTCS who maintain a 2.5 GPA, plan to attend a four-year institution, and have unmet financial need. For more information, contact the college you plan to attend.

KCTCS Commonwealth Scholarship (pays for 12 credit hours per semester)

Kentucky residents who are valedictorians, salutatorians or members of the upper 10 percent of their high school graduating class are eligible for this award.

Clark County Farm Bureau ($250 per semester)

Criteria: GPA 3.0. Clark Co resident, Member of Clark Co Farm Bureau.

Clark Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship ($1000 per semester)

Criteria: Enrolled at Winchester-Clark Co Campus, medical field.

Glitz Scholarship ($1000 per semester)

Criteria: GPA 2.0, enrolled at Winchester-Clark Co Campus.

Quentin Stacy Memorial Scholarship-($500 Fall Only)

Criteria: GPA 2.0, Clark Co Resident, graduate of GRC.

Ralph Oliver Scholarship (Tuition)

Criteria GPA 2.0, Clark Co Resident, currently enrolled or completed 12 credit hours at Winchester-Clark Co. Campus.

Raymond L and Mabel Haggard Quisenberry Endowed Scholarship ($1000 Fall Only)

Criteria: GPA 3.0, Clark Co resident, outstanding leadership and community involvement.

Firefighter Stanley D. Holland Memorial Scholarship ($500)

Criteria: Winchester-Clark Co firefighter enrolled at Winchester-Clark Co Campus, or Winchester-Clark Co. enrolled in Fire Rescue, or Children of Winchester-Clark Co firefighter enrolled at Winchester-Clark Co Campus.
