How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

If you are completing the application for admission, you are applying for one of the following terms: Spring II 2013, Summer 2013, or Fall 2013. Please see the application deadlines below. Please note that the deadline to apply for the Spring 2013 semester has passed. 

1. Please read before you submit an application to the college:  Please submit only ONE application for the term you wish to attend.  If you need to make changes to the application you submitted, please contact our office at (859) 246-6210.  If your application has been suspended, please note that it will still be processed. You must submit a new application to the college if you apply and do not attend and you wish to attend for a future term. If you attend BCTC and leave for a semester you will have to reapply to the college.  Complete the online application.
2. Provide official copies of your high school transcripts or GED test results if you are a first time college student.
3. If you have completed courses at another college(s), send us an official transcript from every college you have attended. To view the established equivalencies for BCTC go to the TES database.
4. Fill out a financial aid application.
5. Send us official copies of your ACT or SAT.

If you scored below 18 on the ACT in English, below 20 in Reading, or below 21 in Math, you will need to take the COMPASS test. COMPASS is free for first-time takers. You will receive information about signing up for a COMPASS appointment in your acceptance letter.
