Definitely the population we serve and the people who work here. It's an inspiring environment.
Impossible to name just one - books, to me, are like friends. I've gone through so many phases - Louisa May Alcott to C.S. Lewis, Issac Asimov to Somerset Maugham, Francine Rivers to M. Scott Peck. I'm all over the board. When I don't feel well or need comforting for any reason, I always reach for The Ladies of Missalonghi by Colleen McCullough - it must have somethign to do with their spirit of survival. It's not a great literary work but it's old fashioned and charming.
Hang out with my husband, Jim, and my dog, Jake; watch old classic movies, read, paint, and cook. Pure bliss.
