The steps below are for those students seeking enrollment as an international student.
Apply for admission to the college
Your first step is to complete an admissions application. You can access the application by visiting the Online Admissions Application portal. Should you require accommodations for completing the application, please contact Disability Support Services at 859-246-6728 or toll free at 866-774-4872, extension 6728.
Provide proof of English proficiency
If your native language is not English, you must submit proof of English proficiency by submitting TOEFL or IELTS scores. For additional information on score requirements, please visit Proof of English Proficiency.
Submit official evaluated transcripts
All students are required to submit post-secondary (college or university) transcripts. If you have not attended a post-secondary institution you will be required to submit official secondary education (high school) transcripts.
Faxed, photocopies, and scanned images of documents will not be accepted. Original documents must be provided to the Office of Admissions.
If you will be hand-delivering documents after hours, you may submit using the drop box located on the door to the Admissions Office located in room 119 of the Oswald building at the Cooper campus. The drop box is secure and checked daily for submissions.
Complete I-20 requirements
Applicants who meet all admission requirements may be issued a letter of acceptance to confirm their admission status. However, an I-20 will not be issued until the applicant has provided verification of funds (no more than six months old) in the amount of $18,550. All financial documents must be original and submitted in English and USD.
If the applicant currently holds a valid VISA they must also provide a photocopy of their current I-20. For additional information concerning international student requirements such as arrival, health insurance, housing, and SEVIS fees, applicants should visit the International Student Services webpage for information.
