Mark your calendars for the Third Annual Lexington Jazz Festival on Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. (Gates open at noon). The Festival will take place at Talon Winery and Vineyards located at 7086 Tates Creek Rd in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky.
The day will feature five great acts from local and regional jazz artists highlighting an eclectic mix of traditional, straight ahead, funk and smooth jazz sounds. Don’t miss out on one of Lexington’s finest musical events. Bring a picnic, your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in to a great day of jazz. Enjoy the beautiful grounds of Talon Winery while listening to some of the finest jazz in the region.
Some food will be available for purchase along with wine, beer, soft drinks and bottled water. Please, NO outside alcoholic beverages are permitted at the winery.
Featured artists this year include the Baja Yetis, the Jamey Aebersold Quartet, Jazz Collective with vocalist Gail Wynters, the Ben Lacey & Bob Bryant Duo, and O-Zone.
