The BCTC Theatre program is proud to take part in local and regional Theatre festivals each year, including:

• The Kentucky Theatre Association Festival- Our students take part in the KTA/ SETC audition screenings each year, to audition for an opportunity to audition at the Southeastern Theatre Conference.
• The Southeastern Theatre Conference annual festival- Our students have auditioned for professional jobs AND 4 year college and Universities at SETC, and have also take part in the many fine workshops SETC has to offer each year. We are one of the only 2 year programs in Kentucky to do this on an annual basis.
• The American College Theatre Festival- Every fall, we enter a show as a participating entry into the ACTF, allowing our students to earn an opportunity to compete in the prestigious Irene Ryan Acting competition at the regional ACTF festival each year. Currently, we are the only two year program in Kentucky to participate in ACTF, and in 2009 we were the ONLY two year program in the Region to be considered for inclusion in the ACTF Region IV festival of plays.
