WGS 200 (Women’s Studies in the Social Sciences) is an introduction to the study of women’s lives from a social science perspective, using a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary approach. It fulfills 3 credit hours under the General Education requirements for Social Science and transfers easily to UK. (It can also be used to satisfy the Cultural Studies requirement for the AA or AS degrees.)

WGS 201 (Women’s Studies in the Arts and Humanities) is an introduction to women's history in work, family and creative production from a Humanities' perspective. It fulfills 3 credit hours under the General Education requirement for Humanities and transfers easily to UK. (It can also be used to satisfy the Cultural Studies requirement for the AA or AS degrees.) Note: WGS 201 has heavy reading and writing assignments.
