The BCTC Foundation gave guests the royal treatment on August 20 at its Second Annual Night of Glamour Gala. Over 125 people gathered at CastlePost in Versailles for a night of dinner and dancing to support BCTC’s general scholarship fund. Guests bid on silent auction items ranging from a Maker’s Mark wax-dipped basketball, autographed by Coach Calipari, to a week-long beachfront vacation. Party-goers clinked sparkling flutes in a toast for Champagne and Diamonds, ultimately vying to see whose glass held something more than just the bubbly. A local jeweler was on standby to inspect the treasures from the bottom of 100 glasses, sifting through 99 cubic zirconia in search of one lucky lady’s one-carat diamond. The Night of Glamour was a success on all fronts: guests had a wonderful time, dancing late into the night, and funds were raised for student scholarships from the yearlong program.
