The Bluegrass Accolade is the BCTC annual literary journal. It contains poems, short stories, and art by BCTC students, faculty, staff, and local authors and artists.
New submissions are welcome! Submissions are accepted during an annual posted review period (usually mid-November to mid-February). For more information, please contact the Bluegrass Accolade's Managing Editor, Maureen Cropper (maureen.cropper@kctcs.edu). When sending your submissions, please understand that there is limited space in each edition and each submission is reviewed by committee for content and artistic merit before inclusion into the journal.
We have recently completed our fifth edition of the Bluegrass Accolade. Each edition contains poetry, art and short fiction by students, faculty and staff of Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
We have been pleased and impressed with the quality of works submitted for each edition. We hope you enjoy reading these works as much as we enjoyed editing and compiling them.
