The Learning College: Creating a Climate for Student Learning

August 9, 2013
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 (Noon)Student with overhead funnel containing books, pencils, lightbulbs, etc...
Leestown Conference Center (C136)

What creates an excellent student learning environment? What role do you play in this important work? This year's Kick-Off starts a conversation to be continued at the upcoming 5th Friday on August 30. (We had hoped to hold the Kick-Off at the Newtown Campus but space and prep issues meant we had to go to a fall-back position. Anyone interested is welcome to visit Newtown in the afternoon.)

We'll take the Kick-Off morning to introduce and discuss topics that support student learning and set the stage to help us understand how to become a more effective learning-focused college. Professional Development sessions will take place on August 30. Stay tuned for more information on those!

To assist us with forming groups for the discussion activity, please RSVP here.

As always, dress for this event is casual.
