The Trustees Scholarship is an initiative designed to increase the number of student transferring to UK from the state's community and technical colleges.

Note: The scholarship information listed below is effective for new, first-time transfer students beginning with the Fall 2012 semester.
Students need to apply for admission to be considered for the scholarships listed below. For more information regarding admission, please visit www.admissions.eku.edu. Qualified students will receive a scholarship award letter and acceptance form upon admittance to the University. The scholarship acceptance form must be returned to the Scholarship Office.
Recipients: Students transferring to EKU with 24 or more credit hours with a college GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Award: Three year award of $12,000. Scholarship of $2,000 per semester ($4,000 annually) for up to 6 semesters. In order to retain the scholarship, the student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and be enrolled full-time.
Recipients: Students transferring to EKU with 24 or more credit hours with a college GPA of 3.50 to 3.74.
Award: Three year award of $4,500. Scholarship of $750 per semester ($1,500 annually) for up to 6 semesters. In order to retain the scholarship, the student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and be enrolled full-time.
Recipients: Students transferring to EKU with 24 or more credit hours with a college GPA of 3.25 to 3.49.
Award: Three year award of $3,000. Scholarship of $500 per semester ($1,000 annually) for up to 6 semesters. In order to retain the scholarship, the student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and be enrolled full-time.
Recipients: Students transferring to EKU with 24 or more credit hours with a college GPA of 3.0 to 3.249.
Award: Three year award of $1,000. Scholarship of $250 per semester ($500 annually) for up to 6 semesters. In order to retain the scholarship, the student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and be enrolled full-time.

Students transferring to the University of Louisville directly from a KCTCS institution may be eligible to apply for the KCTCS Academic Transfer Scholarships. In order to apply, students must:
Students may apply if they currently do not have a 3.25 transferable GPA or 40 transferable hours but anticipate they will at the end of the Spring semester. Awards are merit based and typically range from $500 to $3000 per year. All eligible students will be awarded.
