Password Change Instructions

As an employee, you can change your password one of two ways:

From a KCTCS Campus PC

To change your password from a KCTCS Campus PC perform the following steps:

  1. Press and hold Ctrl' & 'Alt', then press the 'Del' key.
  2. Press the 'Change Password' button.
  3. Enter current password in 'Old Password' box.
  4. Enter new password in 'New Password' box.
  5. Re-Enter new password in 'Confirm New Password' box.
  6. Press 'OK'
  7. If your 'New Password' and 'Confirm New Password' match, you will get a Popup message stating
    'Your password has been changed.'

Your new password is now in effect.


From a Web Browser Through the Password Reset Portal

NOTE: The Password Reset Portal requires that you enroll prior to first use.  You can enroll by navigating to and following the prompts for enrollment.  If you have already enrolled, proceed with the steps below to reset your password.


  1. Browse to or click here.
  2. Enter your KCTCS Username in the field provided, then click Go.
  3. Select the picture and enter the security word that you chose during initial enrollment, then click Login
  4. From the Account Activity List, select Change My Password
  5. Enter your current password, then click Go.
  6. Enter your new password, then confirm your password and click Go.
