Multiculturalism and Inclusion

Diversity Outreach

Diversity Outreach Services within the division of Multiculturalism and Inclusion, is to provide outreach activities and services to enhance diversity and community within BCTC. Underrepresented students, and students participating in services offered through Multiculturalism and Inclusion activities, are offered academic, career and/or life skills advisement, mentoring and referrals through Diversity Outreach Services. Latino/Hispanic Outreach

The Office of Latino/Hispanic Outreach and Services within the division of Multiculturalism and Inclusion leads the college effort to serve the growing Hispanic community in Lexington and central Kentucky. Services are available to assist students throughout the enrollment process and help facilitate the transfer process or workforce entry upon graduating. The office also coordinates cultural and social events for students and serves as a bilingual resource for BCTC students, faculty, and staff. International Student Services

BCTC has a large and growing international student population that enriches the overall college experience for all students. Our large selection of academic and technical programs, quality instruction, and low tuition rates offer international students superior academic opportunities and a unique cultural experience in a friendly atmosphere.

International Student Services sponsors the International Student Association on campus. This organization participates in annual campus activities and also sponsors the International Education Week and corresponding activities each year. There is also an annual spring break retreat that provides international students an opportunity to connect with other students and learn more about Lexington and the state of Kentucky.
