
Associates Degree Nursing Admissions Information
Application Deadlines
The ADN program is available on our Leestown, Lawrenceburg, and Winchester campuses. Both programs admit new students for the Fall semester. These instructions are for initial admit applications, please see page 6 to see if you qualify for advanced standing admissions.
You may only apply to ONE ADN program, you must choose between Lawrenceburg, Leestown, or Winchester.
Deadline to apply is February 15.
Admission Steps
- Create a Selective Admissions System Account. Once you have an active account you can print a program checklist to begin the process. You must submit the checklist with your packet.
- Students who are not currently enrolled in classes at BCTC must fill out an application for admission.
- Take the NLN-PAX-RN Exam. Please see Creating NLN Account Guide to create your NLN account, after creating your account sign up to take the exam at our Leestown testing center.
- Official scores from the National League for Nursing (NLN-PAX-RN) Pre-Admission Test must be within three years. Frequently Asked Questions about the NLN Exam
- In order to be considered for admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program, each applicant must attend a mandatory preadmission conference for the campus they plan to apply to.
Your Admissions Packet must include...
- Checklist from Selective Admissions Account
- Official NLN-PAX Scores (The Testing Center can provide an official copy with a seal.)
- Certificate/Quiz from Pre-Admissions Conference
- Any transcript(s) NOT already on file with BCTC (please email bl-selectiveadmissions@kctcs.edu for questions regarding transcripts)

All NLN PAX-RN exams must be three years or less upon applying to the nursing program. A student will be allowed to repeat the NLN PAX-RN exam every 3 months. Students will be ranked within each category by:
- Reading score
- Science score
- GPA
- Comprehensive score
