Associates Degree Nursing Admissions Information

Application Deadlines

The ADN program is available on our Leestown, Lawrenceburg, and Winchester campuses. Both programs admit new students for the Fall semester. These instructions are for initial admit applications, please see page 6 to see if you qualify for advanced standing admissions.

You may only apply to ONE ADN program, you must choose between Lawrenceburg, Leestown, or Winchester.

Deadline to apply is February 15.

Admission Steps

Your Admissions Packet must include...

  1. Checklist from Selective Admissions Account
  2. Official NLN-PAX Scores (The Testing Center can provide an official copy with a seal.)
  3. Certificate/Quiz from Pre-Admissions Conference
  4. Any transcript(s) NOT already on file with BCTC (please email for questions regarding transcripts)

Admissions Criteria for Initial Admit ADN Applications

Category Admission Ranking for NLN PAX-RN

Reading Score: ≥ 60%

Science Score: ≥ 60%

GPA: ≥ 3.0 / High School GPA: ≥ 3.0

Comprehensive Score: ≥ 111


Reading Score: ≥ 55%

Science Score: ≥ 55%

GPA: ≥ 2.75 / High School GPA: ≥ 2.75

Comprehensive Score: ≥ 105


Reading Score: ≥ 50%

Science Score: ≥ 50%

GPA: ≥ 2.50 / High School GPA: ≥ 2.50

Comprehensive Score: ≥ 100

All NLN PAX-RN exams must be three years or less upon applying to the nursing program. A student will be allowed to repeat the NLN PAX-RN exam every 3 months. Students will be ranked within each category by:

  1. Reading score
  2. Science score
  3. GPA
  4. Comprehensive score
