With strong partnerships and excellence in teaching and learning, Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) provides a skilled workforce, through high-quality career and technical programs, workforce training, and continuing education. The Career Center can provide employers with the following services:

  • Post Jobs, Internships, Volunteer, or Other Opportunities on our BCTC Career Network Job Board:

    BCTC uses College Central Network as its official job resource and resume system. Students alumni, and employers can easily create an account online.

    • Students, easily apply to jobs and Internship/Co-op job opportunities posted exclusively for you, and search other opportunities via Jobs Central and Intern Central , national job boards.
    • Create and upload your resume and career portfolio to make available to employers.
    • Access our events calendar, and career/job search advice documents, podcasts, videos and more.
    • Employers search for talented students and alumni, and post unlimited jobs for free.

Employers can also email job/internship/volunteer descriptions, hiring, or other job promotional flyers to BL-CareerDevelopment@kctcs.edu to be posted on campus bulletin boards, social media accounts, and emailed to faculty, staff, students and/or alumni.

  • Schedule A On-Campus Recruitment Visit: The On-Campus Recruitment program (OCR) provides employers with the opportunity to recruit students on campus, host classroom company presentations, and conduct on-site interviews on all of BCTC's campuses for part and full-time, paid and unpaid jobs and internships in both the fall and spring semesters during normal classroom times.

  • Attend our Job or Career Fairs: Our Career Center hosts multiple events for students and alumni throughout the year from job fairs to find employment or internships among our local and state-wide employers while in school or after graduation, and career fairs by local and national, competitive employers in multiple career industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, human services, education, etc.

Our services are limited to the Lexington, Danville, Lawrenceburg, Winchester, Georgetown campuses, and all other BCTC affiliated facilities.
