Faculty and Staff

The Career Center can provide faculty and staff with the following services:

  • BCTC Career Network Job Board: College Central Network is our official job resource and resume system for students, alumni, and employers to create an easy and free account on the College Central website.

    Whether students or alumni are currently looking for part-time, full-time, seasonal employment or internships, or waiting until graduation, you can encourage students and alumni to register for their FREE account on our Career Network Job Board, where you can find internships, cooperative education opportunities, volunteering opportunities, as well as full and part-time jobs. Career Network Job Board also provides a career library of resources from podcast, articles, videos, etc. on resume building, networking, interviews, etc.

  • Cooperative Education and Placement: Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) offers students work based educational experiences through cooperative and experiential education courses. These courses offer students on- and off-campus workplace education with in-demand career skills development.

  • Career Resource Links: Online resources gathered by area of interest and career, resume building, job searching, career assessments and exploration, etc.

  • Schedule Our Events for Classroom Assignments, Student Organization and/or Scholarship Requirements: Learn more about the possibilities at Career Center Events, which include a statewide Career Fair, visits from employers and recruiters, and much more!

    Our Career Center hosts multiple events for students and alumni throughout the year from job fairs to find employment or internships among our local and state-wide employers while in school or after graduation, and on- campus recruitment and hiring events by local and national, competitive employers in multiple career industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, human services, education, etc. We also present monthly our career development workshops on a wide range of topics from deciding on a major and career, resume building, drafting a cover letter, networking, creating a LinkedIn account, interviewing techniques, and so much more. All events are free and open to the public.

  • Submit a Presentation Request Form: Schedule a career development presentation for a class or event in resume building, networking and interview skills, career exploration, etc.

  • Submit a Referral Form: Refer a student or alumni for career counseling to take a career assessment, write and critique a resume, mock interviewing practice, etc.
