Step 5: Find, Review, and Evaluate Books

Find, Review, and Evaluate Books

  • If your research strategy involves finding book sources for your paper, a good place to start is the library's Find A Book page.
  • The library has two types of books: 1) books that you can take off of the library shelf to use, and 2) e-books that you can access and read online. Both can be good sources for your research.
  • Use the KCTCS Catalog to find books we have at BCTC libraries on the shelves (use dropdown menu to select Bluegrass CTC -All) , as well as links to many Ebook Central e-books.
  • See Evaluating Books to help you determine if a book is right for your paper.
