BCTC Construction Technology Program Opens Its Doors In Lawrenceburg

Photo of Laura Lynch Addressing a CrowdLEXINGTON, KY (November 12, 2008) BCTC's Lawrenceburg Campus held an open house to introduce the new Construction Technology program to the public on November 11. The event brought together representatives from the college, community members and prospective students for a program review that included a tour of the new construction technology classroom and lab.

The Lawrenceburg program is an extension of the existing program located in Lexington on the BCTC Leestown Campus. Students enrolled in the program will learn site layout and foundations, floor and wall framing, interior and exterior finishes, blueprint reading, and estimating. The program takes 12 months to complete a certificate, 18 months for a diploma, and two years to complete an associate degree.
