BCTC ESL Students tell their stories in publication
Slowly is the Journey, a book of stories written by BCTC immigrant, refugee, and international students will be released this Thursday, April 7 with a celebration from 12-2pm in the AT Lobby on the Cooper Campus. Student authors will be reading from their stories about the often difficult journeys they have taken to create a better life for themselves and their families.
Slowly is the Journey is a compilation of stories by 60 BCTC student authors who represent 28 countries. The book will be available for purchase for $20. After the publishing costs are covered, any profits will be used to assist BCTC ESL students in their continued journeys toward education.
