BCTC Presents the 2007 Mosaiic Conference

LEXINGTON, KY (June 8, 2007) The Bluegrass Community amp; Technical College (BCTC) Office of Multicultural Affairs presents the 2007 Mosaiic Conference. The diversity conference on inclusive working and learning environments will take place on Thursday and Friday, June 14-15, 2007, at the BCTC Cooper Campus, 470 Cooper Drive, in the Oswald Building. Registration for the conference begins at 9:00 a.m.
Marilyn Loden a leading authority for over 20 years on leveraging diversity in the workplace will be the keynote speaker. An innovator in the field of applied behavioral science, Ms. Lodens client list includes Astra Merck Pharmaceuticals, ATamp;T, Charles Schwab, and GTE to name a few.
Concurrent training session topics will include Getting Beyond What I Think I Know, Cross Cultural Communication and Rules of Engagement amp; Dealing with Cultural Shock of Non-native Students.
