BCTC to offer FasTrack Degrees Online, Weekends

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 14, 2010) Starting this fall, busy adults can earn academic degrees by taking online and weekend classes through a new program at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

The program, FasTrack, enables non-traditional students to earn an Associate Degree in Arts or an Associate Degree in Science in two years. Students take hybrid classes, a combination of in-classroom and online instruction, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. The classes are 8-weeks long. The program also consists of taking online courses that are conducted during the semester. Students can start the FasTrack program any semester.

This program is the perfect opportunity for working adults to get their degree or to take just a class or two, said David Hellmich, vice president of academics. With small class sizes and great faculty, everyone can be a successful college student in the FasTrack program.

Call (859) 246-6482 for more information or to register for the FasTrack program.
