Bluegrass Community and Technical Colleges Winchester-Clark County campus has donated surplus technology to Shearer Elementary School, in Winchester, Ky.

We are fortunate that we are able to give back to our community and invest in the education of these elementary students at Shearer, said Bruce Manley, campus director of the BCTC Winchester-Clark County Campus. The more we can invest in our children at this early age the better prepared they will be when they reach us for college at BCTC!

BCTC gave 15 mice, 20 keyboards, 12 monitors and 23 computers to Shearer Elementary. Mark Rose, principal of Shearer, said of the donation, Shearer Elementary staff and students would like to thank BCTC for the donation of computers to our school. We are honored to receive these computers which will be put to good use in our school on a daily basis.
