Exhibit featuring life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on display at BCTC library
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 14, 2010) An exhibit illustrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is on display through Friday, Jan. 15 at the Bluegrass Community and Technical College library on Cooper Campus. The Kentucky History Museum in Frankfort loaned the exhibit to the college. The Office of Multiculturalism and Inclusion held an opening reception for the exhibit on Wednesday afternoon.
"We are a living example of Dr. King's legacy by working, studying and living side by side to make this world a better place," said Vice President for Multiculturalism and Inclusion Charlene Walker. "This exhibit is a reminder of the sacrifices that have been made for all of us to have the rights that we have today."
