Bluegrass Community and Technical Colleges (BCTC) new campus on Newtown Pike recently grew by nearly 12 acres. The state conveyed the former Department for Juvenile Justice complex to the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) which BCTC will use for future growth and program offerings.

Lumina is investing over 11.5 million in Latino Student Success (LSS) efforts across the country. BCTC received 600 000 from Lumina Foundation to create a cross sector cross agency partnership called the Kentucky Latino Education Alliance (KLEA).
