Lexington Mobile Veterans Center to Visit BCTC Campuses
The Lexington Veterans Center is a part of the department of veteran affairs that does counseling and readjustment services for veterans. The mobile outreach consists of a counseling team and is available to serve veterans at BCTC and in the surrounding community. Veterans, students and community members wishing to learn more about veterans issues or their VA benefits are invited to stop by during the campus visits.
The Lexington Veterans Center is an indispensable asset in helping service members transition from combat to college, said Alex DeSha, BCTC coordinator for Military Veteran Student Services. BCTC is happy to have the Mobile Veterans Center come to its campuses to further serve the needs of veterans in the school and the community.
