Turning Up the Heat at the New Winchester-Clark County Campus
LEXINGTON, KY (July 2, 2007) Temperatures are not the only thing rising these days at Bluegrass Community amp; Technical College. The New Winchester-Clark County Campus building is coming up at a rapid pace.
The new 23,000 square foot facility located on 20 acres at 2020 Rolling Hills Drive currently has the first floor in place and is preparing to pour the concrete for the second floor of the building. The building will include a child development center, two biology/chemistry laboratories, 9 classrooms, computer labs, business/student services office, and wireless computer access.
The campus will offer both academic and technical training. Students will be able to obtain an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Business Management degrees at the campus. The new campus will also offer technical programming, including nursing and early childhood education. The target date for completion is January 2008.
