Bluegrass Community and Technical College Workforce Solutions provides a comprehensive approach to workforce education, continuing professional education, employee services and customized learning solutions that address the needs of businesses, organizations, and individuals in our community. As part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), we are able to access the resources of the other KCTCS colleges across the state to reach your employees across Kentucky. If you are interested in a career in a high-demand field where you can make a real difference in people's lives, check this out!  O & P Technicians fabricate, repair and maintain artificial limbs and braces, and work with patients under the supervision of certified practitioners.

BCTC Workforce Solutions, along with Kenney Oropedics and the Bluegrass Workforce Innovation Board are pleased to offer this FREE live work-based learning project which combines 40 hours of classroom/lab training and a 160-hour paid internship, with job placement upon successful completion.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and attend an informational meeting at 6pm on March 7th at the Leestown Campus in Room 122 of the Manufacturing-Technology Building.  Bring a one page resume and be prepared to speak to company representatives about why you should be chosen for this opportunity.

Utilizing textbooks and materials designed exclusively for exam preparation, this course will include instruction and practice exams on technical material including electrical theory, basic electrical calculations, the Code, and National Electrical Code calculations.

This course is an overview of major topics covered on the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.  Note:  This course does not provide training to be a pharmacy technician.  It is intended for those preparing to take the PTCB Technician Certification Exam.

Get prepared for the Kentucky Journeyman HVAC Exam with our 8-week course conveniently offered in the evenings.  Through a series of discussions and online practice exams, participants will be exposed to different building codes and code books used by the HVAC industry.  Prior education/experience in HVAC is necessary as this is not an HVAC training class.
