Certificate Details
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Level 1 Certificate

13-15 Credits

An understanding of the requirements and opportunities in maintenance, good safety practices, pride in workmanship, and an understanding of the principles and accepted practices of the maintenance trade are covered in this program. Students are trained to hold positions in factories, hospitals, hotels, etc., where multi-skilled maintenance personnel are needed. Included are courses in electricity, fluid power, and mechanical equipment.

A+ Prep Certificate

4 Credits

Presents a practical view of computer hardware and client operating systems. Covers computer hardware components; troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance; operating system interfaces and management tools; networking components; computer security; and operational procedures.

Social Media Marketing Certificate

6 Credits

Prepares students to create a comprehensive social media marketing campaign, applicable to any business or organization. Learn intermediate social media strategies and best practices for engagement. Introduces the student to social media policy, procedure, and engagement guidelines that will explain how all stakeholders and groups in an organization should monitor and participate in social media interactions.

Welding Helper

2-5 Credits

Teaches students the identification, inspection, and maintenance of welding equipment; principles of welding; the effects of variables on the SMAW process to weld plate and pipe; and metallurgy. Theory, basic setup, operation, and related safety are applied.
