Leaving Bluegrass Community and Technical College doesn't have to be the end! We hope
that you will stay connected and take advantage of the benefits that the BCTC network
of graduates has to offer alumni, friends, students, and the college.
All students who completed a minimum of three credit hours from Bluegrass Community
and Technical College or at one of its precursor institutions (Lexington Community
College, Central Kentucky Technical College, and Lexington Vocational Technical Institution)
are considered BCTC alumni.
What does it mean to be a BCTC Alum?
Although each one of us has a personal experience, we all have Bluegrass Community
and Technical College in common. Our experiences have made us a college family and
that bond will benefit not only ourselves, but future BCTC alumni.
We are proud of the collective accomplishments of our BCTC alumni. There are many
opportunities to share your experiences with others and to get involved. As ambassadors,
you are a resource for our college and our community in building a bridge between
BCTC s past and future.
In today s job market, it is always a good idea to have a network of colleagues and
friends. As BCTC alumni, we encourage you to keep in touch by sharing your successes
and reaching out to us when you are contemplating a job or career change.
