“We are thrilled to continue partnering with the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet to deliver critical adult education services to our community,” said Dr. Greg Feeney, BCTC President/CEO. “This funding enables us to provide valuable resources that support individuals in achieving their academic and professional goals. At Bluegrass Community and Technical College, we are deeply committed to empowering adult learners across Central Kentucky, and we are excited about the positive impact this grant will have on our communities and the workforce,” said Feeney.
David Sturgill, Regional Director of Adult Education, expressed his enthusiasm about the award, saying, “I am extremely pleased that BCTC Adult Education can continue the important work we have been doing since 1998. Our efforts have a profound impact on families and the communities we serve. We proudly offer opportunities to help individuals escape poverty and provide Central Kentucky with qualified postsecondary candidates and skilled workers. Additionally, we are excited to expand our services to Woodford County, further extending our reach and support while addressing the critical shortage of skilled workers in Kentucky.”
