
Bluegrass Community & Technical College Names Erica S. Fehrman as Campus Director of the Georgetown–Scott County Campus

LEXINGTON, KY — Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) has announced the appointment of
Erica S. Fehrman as the new Campus Director of the Georgetown–Scott County Campus,
effective April 1, 2026. Fehrman brings a strong background in student success, academic
leadership, and community partnership development that will support the continued
growth and impact of the Georgetown campus.
Fehrman currently serves as Associate Dean of Dual Credit at BCTC, where she leads all operations of the college’s dual credit program across six campuses. Under her leadership, the program has experienced significant enrollment growth, including a 29% increase in fall enrollment between 2023 and 2025 and 23.5% spring enrollment growth between 2024 and 2026. She oversees staff, partnerships, curriculum coordination, compliance, and student success initiatives while serving as the primary liaison for more than 150 high school partners.
In addition to her dual credit leadership, Fehrman also served as Director of Student Success, managing a $235,000 tutoring initiative that spanned seven campuses and supported multiple tutoring modalities and more than 60 tutoring staff. Her work has focused on expanding student support services, using data-informed strategies to improve course success rates, and strengthening collaboration with faculty and academic departments.

Erica has consistently built strong partnerships and delivered measurable growth in programs that expand access to education. I am excited to see her bring that same vision and energy to the Georgetown–Scott County Campus and to the Scott County community.”
Fehrman’s career at BCTC also includes serving as an Academic Advisor, where she supported more than 350 students across healthcare, business, and multicultural pathways, as well as an Adult Education Instructor, teaching courses to help adult learners achieve high school equivalency. She currently teaches as an Adjunct English and Writing Instructor, bringing a strong focus on inclusive and transparent teaching practices that support student achievement.

Fehrman holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from University of Evansville. She also participated in the British Studies program at Harlaxton College in Lincolnshire, England.
As Campus Director, Fehrman will oversee campus operations, community engagement, and student success initiatives for BCTC’s Georgetown–Scott County Campus, continuing the college’s mission of expanding educational opportunities and strengthening workforce partnerships throughout the region.
