BCTC Danville will host regional SkillsUSA Competition March 24

LEXINGTON, KY - Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s (BCTC) Danville Campus will host the regional SkillsUSA Competition on March 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the campus, 59 Corporate Drive, Danville. Approximately 70 technical high school students from Anderson, Boyle, Estill, Garrard, Lincoln, Madison and Powell counties will be participating.
The following competitions will be held:
- Computerized Manufacturing & Machining (CMM)
- Electrical (Motor Controls)
- Fluid Power
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
- Rotating Machinery
The Danville Campus technical faculty will be present during the competition and most will be serving as judges. Participants who win the top three places could compete at the state SkillsUSA Competition in April, 2017.
