Expert to give tips on changing careers after age 50

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 13, 2010) Age is only a number and a platform to show your experience, expertise and for launching a new career, according to an expert on the mature workforce.

Patricia Faust, CEO of Elder Education Consultants, LLC, will be the keynote speaker at a conference co-sponsored by Bluegrass Community and Technical College and AARP Kentucky. The conference, Work at 50+: A New Age of Possibility and Purpose, will include sessions on Answering Tough Interview Questions, Developing your Personal Brand and Secrets of Successful Career Changers.

Fausts keynote address will focus on re-careering after age 50 and her experience of returning to school and changing careers after 30 years.

The conference will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 14 at the Student Center (Building C) on the BCTC Leestown Campus, 164 Opportunity Way, in Lexington.
