Guidance Counselors
Greetings, High School counselors and college & career coaches!
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in ensuring student success. We understand that the process of guiding students through their college search can be overwhelming. We hope that the information below will help you simplify the process for students and get them excited about the road ahead.
Should you or your students wish to visit one of our campuses, we would love to schedule a tour. A campus visit is the perfect opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our students, and see what Bluegrass has to offer. To schedule a campus visit, please visit Visit Campus for direct contact information.
Do you have a student that could benefit from information about the college or who may be interested in attending? Please consider completing the Refer a Student form and we will send them information about the college!
Please note that the absolute deadline for incoming freshmen for Fall 2023 is July 15, 2023.
Submitting Documents
Bluegrass has moved to electronic student files. We would appreciate your assistance with this transition by submitting requested transcripts electronically through Parchment. As always, we are still accepting transcripts via direct mail. All students are required to submit a high school transcript with posted graduation date to complete their admission file. We also ask students to submit test scores to determine course placement their first semester. For more information on the admissions process for incoming freshmen, please visit First-Time Freshman.
Scholarships
We offer diverse scholarship opportunities to support the financial needs of students. For a complete list of current scholarships, please review Available Scholarships. To apply, students must complete an online profile and submit the scholarship application along with the required supporting documentation. The priority deadline for scholarships is February 1 of each year. For more information on applying for scholarships, please visit Scholarships.
Material Requests
As always, we want you and your students to have the information necessary to help guide the college search. If you, your colleagues, or students would like informational materials, please email Ally Grzywacz.
Recruitment
Our admissions officers are here to work with you and your students, both at our campuses and yours. Check out our Admissions Team page to find the recruiter for your area. Don’t see your county? Please email Ally Grzywacz.
Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment
If your students are interested in dual credit or dual enrollment courses, please visit Dual Credit for additional information.
For those that complete dual credit or dual enrollment courses at BCTC as juniors or seniors, students may complete the OC to BCTC Form, which will serve as their admissions application.
Annual High School Counselor Luncheon
Each year, we look forward to the opportunity to celebrate the work you do for your students. It is also an opportunity to come together and reflect on our shared partnership in helping students achieve their goals.
