Open Registration for the Spring 2023 Semester starts October 1

LEXINGTON, KY – Bluegrass Community & Technical College has begun its open registration period for the Spring 2023 semester. Students that enroll in classes during Open Registration (October 1-December 16) will be entered to win one of five laptop computers and the grand prize of up to 15 hours of in-state tuition and fees for Spring 2023!

*Student must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more) to be entered in the grand prize drawing. To be eligible for the grand prize or the laptops, students must be enrolled in only BCTC courses unless BCTC does not offer the course(s) during the semester. 

Plus, they will receive free swag when they sign up for an advising appointment! (While supplies last)

Students have received emails from their academic advisor this semester with a link to their appointment calendar – including phone and in person appointment options.  Students can make their advising appointment via those links.  Students that can no longer access those emails can contact BL_Advising@kctcs.edu to connect to an academic advisor. 

Additionally, representatives from admissions, advising, financial aid and the bursar's office are available in the Den at the Newtown Campus to assist prospective or current students with enrollment for the winter and spring semesters.

Walk-in Assistance will be available during The Den's regular hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The regional campuses in Danville, Georgetown, Lawrenceburg and Winchester are also available for advising by scheduling an appointment.

Those who would prefer not to make a trip to campus can access BCTC’s services remotely. Interested persons may contact the offices below by email or call (855)246-2477.

Those who have not applied to BCTC can apply through the online application. If application is complete, but students are not enrolled, they may walk in during the dates above or set up an pre-advising appointment with the Advising Office. Current students can also walk in or set up an advising appointment on the BCTC advising page
