Charlene Walker was nominated by the photo of charlene walkerKentucky Commission on Human Rights for the 2017 Kentucky Civil Rights Hall of Fame. Walker, vice president of Multiculturalism and Inclusion at BCTC, started at an early age to help integrate her elementary school in Hazard, Ky., and has spent the rest of her life bringing people together and finding opportunities for growth in human and civil rights, and education and employment.
