Study Skills

Study Skills services are offered in the Counseling Center, located in room 101 of the Science Education Center on the Newtown Campus. The Study Skills Services are offered to assist students with study strategies on an individual basis, in small group workshops, or in classroom settings. Assistance can be provided in the following areas:

  • Study Skills Assessment
  • Test Preparation
  • Test Anxiety
  • Note-Taking
  • Textbook Reading Skills
  • Memory Techniques
  • Math Anxiety
  • Time Management/Procrastination
  • Concentration Learning Style Assessment
  • Goal Setting/Motivation
