Newtown Campus Classes in Science Education Building (SEC) Cancelled - 4/14/26

Classes held in the Science Education Center (SEC) Building are canceled for the remainder of the day, Tuesday, 4/14/26, due to a construction issue. The following buildings will continue with normal class operating hours: Classroom Building, Building 30, and the Adult Education Building.

Study Skills services are offered in the Counseling Center, located in room 101 of the Science Education Center on the Newtown Campus. The Study Skills Services are offered to assist students with study strategies on an individual basis, in small group workshops, or in classroom settings. Assistance can be provided in the following areas:

  • Study Skills Assessment
  • Test Preparation
  • Test Anxiety
  • Note-Taking
  • Textbook Reading Skills
  • Memory Techniques
  • Math Anxiety
  • Time Management/Procrastination
  • Concentration Learning Style Assessment
  • Goal Setting/Motivation
