Most Kentucky institutions offer great transfer scholarships to BCTC students. Scholarship information is subject to change and typically the scholarships/awards are based on merit, GPA, or other distinguishing factors. To find out more about scholarships please ask your transfer advisor or visit the transfer institutions website for the details.

Program Information and Eligibility

The BCTCblue+ program allows currently enrolled BCTC students the opportunity to take classes at UK, paying our tuition rate. There is not a set schedule for taking classes; it depends on the UK program and any needed prerequisites, as the classes at UK cannot be offered at BCTC.  Students accepted into the program must meet with the UK program advisor each semester to discuss their individual plan (instructions will be sent after being admitted).

Eligibility for the program is based on the following criteria:

  • 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • 12 successfully completed credit hours with at least one BCTC course included
